The Journey Continues: We have been given the opportunity to live in Manila for the next three years! Grace will be taking on a new role as Finance Manager and I will continue suffering as an ex-pat spouse. But seriously, I'm hoping to do some work and keep my PT brain and hands going so I don't forget everything. A great place to come and visit. We'd love to have you over or meet up somewhere in Asia.

i want to hear more about egg coffee. (happy new year, lees!)
ReplyDeleteHey Diane! Happy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteLegend says that an old Vietnamese bartender who was working at a 5-star hotel in Hanoi ran out of milk to serve with his coffee. So he improvised and used egg yolk instead. Now it's pretty popular all over Hanoi.
We went to Giang Cafe which is supposedly the original "Hanoi Egg Coffee". It was pretty tasty. Similar to a Vietnamese drip coffee in the US but thicker and sweeter.
