Sometimes I experience things that just make me walk away shaking my head. Not to be offensive. I've learned that being a visitor in another country means that you should be respectful and patient even when things don't make sense. Case in point. The cashier at the grocery store didn't have enough change in the register. So what does she do? She grabs a red paddle and holds it in the air. After two minutes of standing there (with no one paying attention to her) she finally walks over to the manager's desk to get more change. And this was in the morning when the store was almost empty. I stood there amazed for so long that I decided to take a picture. #brokensystem #whocameupwiththis
