Chain Stores Galore

One of the reasons why living in the Philippines feels a bit like the US is because of all the retail and restaurant franchises that are here. Manila has tons of chain stores and it seems like new ones are popping up every week. Here's a couple of examples:

The crazy thing is that I took these pictures at the local hospital. Chase's orthodontist is located inside this building, which feels more like a mall when you walk into the courtyard. I couldn't get pictures of everything, but there was also an Italian restaurant, Chinese Dim Sum take-out, and a cupcake/dessert shop. It'd be dangerous if I worked this close to a Starbuck's...
