Avilon Zoo

Took a trip to Avilon Zoo which is about a one and a half hour drive out of the city. 

There were a lot of reptiles on display. I guess in a tropical climate it's easy for them to thrive in a place like this.

This one is for my arachnophobic friends. I'm thinking of one guy in particular. Name rhymes with "Benny".

This young crocodile caught my attention. Very sneaky with the mossy plants in the water.

Didn't see many tigers while we were living in Africa. This was a treat for us to see.

The alpha male. This guy was huge.

Even through the glass window I thought the colors on this toucan came out real nice.

We paid a small fee to take pictures with some of the zoo animals. Might be frowned upon in places like the US for taking advantage of the animals. But very normal practice here in Asia. Chase choose a white cockatoo.

I got to take one with Trixie. A hilariously friendly orangutan. We took a few shots together with different poses. Grace couldn't stop laughing.
