The Journey Continues: We have been given the opportunity to live in Manila for the next three years! Grace will be taking on a new role as Finance Manager and I will continue suffering as an ex-pat spouse. But seriously, I'm hoping to do some work and keep my PT brain and hands going so I don't forget everything. A great place to come and visit. We'd love to have you over or meet up somewhere in Asia.

Frogger
Dating myself but this was one of the first games I remember playing as a kid. And that's kinda what it feels like to be a pedestrian here in Manila. There is no "right of way" when you are crossing the street. Even if you're pushing a baby stroller you better be looking both ways carefully. Cars will not stop for you. Even if you're in the crosswalk (zebra crossing). Even if the light is in your favor and telling you to cross. Turning cars will zip right past your heels and toes. Takes some time to get used to. At first, I was a little offended. But just came to accept it as the norm. This wouldn't fly in the US :)
