have a horn. This would incite major road rage in other parts of the world but here it's very normal. When you're sitting in your car at a red light, as soon as the light turns green the second through tenth car behind you will start honking their horn. Within milliseconds. When someone is passing you on the right or left, they probably won't resist the urge to give you a little (double) honk just to let you know they are there. And oh yeah, if you're walking on the sidewalk many taxi cabs will give you a honk just to get your attention and let you know that they are available. Funny how you get used the noise. Seems very normal already.
