The Journey Continues: We have been given the opportunity to live in Manila for the next three years! Grace will be taking on a new role as Finance Manager and I will continue suffering as an ex-pat spouse. But seriously, I'm hoping to do some work and keep my PT brain and hands going so I don't forget everything. A great place to come and visit. We'd love to have you over or meet up somewhere in Asia.

Nino Aquino Day
Today is a national holiday. Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. was the husband of Corazon Aquino who later became the Philippine President. He is considered a hero for his work in fighting for the democracy of the country during the reign of Ferdinand Marcos. Health problems forced him to seek medical care in the US during the early 1980's. Upon re-entering the Philippines in 1983, he was assassinated at the Manila Airport (which is now named after him) which eventually led up to the EDSA Revolution in 1986. His son Benigno Aquino III is the current Philippine President.
