Co-ed flag football tournament. It turned into a Mud Bowl after an afternoon of heavy rains. We lost in the semi-finals but enjoyed a 5-0 record up to that point. Our team was comprised of teachers, parents, and friends of ISM. Last spring there was a similar tournament which I didn't participate in. All of our jerseys have personalized numbers on the back but we added a small number 36 on the front left shoulder in honor of Travis O'Neel. He was an elementary school teacher at ISM. That was the jersey number he wore while playing for the Untouchables. He passed away over the summer in a fatal motorcycle accident in Thailand. We definitely felt like his spirit was an honorary member of the team.
