Chase made it onto the middle school (5th and 6th grade) tennis team. I didn't realize that it would be so competitive at this age level. There were over 20 kids that came to tryouts and only 10 spots were available. I guess at a school with a lot of Asians I shouldn't be surprised that many of them play tennis. There are some pretty good players at the school (I'd be nervous playing against some of the 8th graders). League matches are every Saturday morning now. Chase is happy to be on the team and mom and dad are proud that he is building some self-confidence through sports.
