We're hosting two students from the Singapore American School who are in town to play in a tennis tournament at ISM. They're here for 4 nights while they battle it out amongst the 6 international schools (Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur). Since Chase played on the middle school team, we had received emails requesting for volunteer host families. So we thought it would be a good experience for us. Hiroto is a sophomore and Hanson is a senior. It's been fun having them as a part of our family. They've already been sucked into playing the Wii and billiards with our boys. It's weird though... I can picture Chase and Toby being in their shoes. Growing up, playing tennis, traveling the world. Another reminder that time seems to be moving faster than before - is this part of mid-life crisis??? Yikes. This afternoon I went to school to watch them play and I was definitely impressed. High level tennis. They would school me badly. I'll be cheering for ISM and these two guys over the next few days...
