International Day

The elementary school at ISM has students and faculty from 87 different countries. Definitely a lot of diversity. This week they celebrated their annual International Day Festival. They had a flag ceremony in the morning that included displaying all 87 flags! There were food and games shared in each of the classes and a show put on by the 3rd and 4th graders organized by the music department.

Couldn't fit all the flags in one shot. These were hanging in the elementary school courtyard.

Even Angola is represented. Definitely felt like part of me is from there.

One of Chase's drawings on display during the 4th grade musical.

Each of the 4th grade classes put on a performance highlighting music and dance from different cultures. This was the closing song from South Africa.
