Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. I was impressed by this picture I took with my iPhone. Pretty good clarity for a camera-phone. Point and shoot market must be getting pretty small nowadays. Anyways, we had dinner on the waterfront so that we could watch a fireworks competition that is being held this month here in Manila. Each Saturday two countries are featured with the winner being announced after all 10 countries get their chance to compete. We got to watch the show put on by China. Pretty amazing. Probably the best fireworks we will ever get to see. I think the show ran for almost 30 minutes. Pretty sure the regulations are much different for fireworks shows in the US (I can imagine that the pollution caused by this type of event would not be allowed). The kids enjoyed it. We even brought Chase's school friend Allen with us.
