We spent one day with 20 local pastors from the Phnom Penh region. They were all members of the Social Concerns Committee of the Methodist Church of Cambodia. They are some of the unsung heroes that are rebuilding this country. Our team shared various programs from our own church that relate to holistic ministry - sharing the gospel directly or indirectly through projects such as English language classes, knitting and craft making, livelihood training... It's not hard to forget that the Philippines is a third world country with tons of ministry opportunities of our own. This was a nice opportunity to collaborate and share ideas with each other.
