Okay, so this article might lack a bit of meatiness but I really appreciate what it says about living in the Philippines. I think I've mentioned in previous posts that shopping malls are abundant here. Kinda seems strange for a third world country. I can see how free air conditioning would be a draw in a place where the heat and humidity are relentless. But there is definitely more to shopping malls than just a respite from the weather.
