Elementary and Middle School sports tournaments have started. Proud of Chase of Toby for their efforts. Our shy, little Toby made it onto the 3rd grade team. This year there were only 15 spots and over 30 kids came to tryouts. He is enjoying the challenge of competing for a role on the team. And in only his second season of volleyball, Chase was chosen by his teammates to be co-captain this year. I'm excited that he is taking a real interest in the game, improving his skills, and willing to be a leader on his team. These photos were taken on the same day. Luckily, both teams were playing home games at ISM. I must say that sitting in the gymnasium with the A/C flowing is much more preferable than the sidelines of the soccer field. Even at 8:00 AM there was a 25 degree difference.
