It's been just over a year since the Philippines was hit by typhoon Haiyan. Many of the southeastern islands are still recovering from the devastation. Now a similar super-typhoon (Ruby aka Hagupit) is threatening to make its way into the Philippines over the next few days. We've had some rolling clouds and sprinkles throughout the day (Friday) but everyone is bracing in anticipation for what the weather will be like over the weekend. Hoping that the typhoon heads north and dissipates in the Pacific Ocean.
