Jumped on a domestic flight 3-hours northwest of Sydney to Cairns. I got to DRIVE a rental car! We drove up the coast an hour to a small coastal town called Port Douglas. Reminded me of Hawaii as we cruised along the road with the water on one side and green mountains on the other. From here we'll be able to visit the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rain Forest. Euphoric.
