Mr. Root

Chase brought home a cool school project - a small greenhouse made out of a plastic bottle. You cut the bottle in half in order to get everything inside and then you just push the top of the bottle down onto the base. Chase named him Mr. Root. The plant never needs watering. The water constantly gets recycled through evaporation and condensation. It won't outgrow the bottle which is not a bad thing when you're in an apartment. I guess we'll have a lot of little things to give away when we eventually leave Manila.
