Anyoung Haseyo

We're en route back to the US for the summer holiday. Our first stop is in Korea. The media craze about MERS was a bit alarming, but we are here and feel very safe. Don't believe the hype. The Yi's took the longer flight to meet us here. Grace's uncle and aunt have been awesome hosts. We've done a lot of touristy things in our first couple days. This is the boys' first time here and Grace and I haven't visited in about 20 years. I think the last time I was here I had to take a shower with a bowl and bucket of water. Seoul is certainly different now. Lots of good food and shopping and culture. Feels kinda like the motherland even though we can't speak the language. The store workers in the shopping areas are speaking to me in Japanese - I guess it must be the shaved head and chin hair. We will enjoy the week here. Will try to post some more pictures in a couple days.
