Took a 3-hour high speed train and headed down south to Busan for a couple days. Got to play on the beach and visit Uncle Sang. Too bad Auntie Sally and the boys are back in the US right now. But we still had a blast as the Busan Beach Boys!
The family tradition continues on every beach. The boys were happy to put on their board shorts and get dirty.
A huge pile of sand on Haeundae Beach. The boys wanted to spend the whole day (and night) playing on top of this thing. This was the best playground in the world.
Not so many tourists lately because of MERS. We had most of the beach to ourselves. On the weekends this place is as crowded as Waikiki. Many locals seem to be staying inside their homes just to be safe.
The water was freezing but of course the boys went into the ocean and enjoyed playing in the sand. I could barely dip my feet in the water.
Caleb warming up on the beach sea lion style.
My first time visiting Busan. Grace's dad's family is originally from this region. Nice to get out of the big city and see a different part of the country.
Uncle Sang took us to one of his favorite restaurants. The BBQ was one of the best we've ever had. We ate enough for a small to medium sized village. The kids went to town as well. I think the restaurant workers were amazed by the amount of food we ordered.
Happy happy. I'm working on Toby's camera face. But he was definitely happy too. Uncle Sang has rockstar status with the boys since he plays Clash of Clans.
No brainer. Visited the local aquarium.
I designed a logo and had it screen printed onto some matching t-shirts for the boys. They looked like they were part of a group tour. Easier to keep track of them too.
