ISM

Went to register the boys for school today (International School Manila). There are about 2,000 students (K-12) with the school separated into three sections for elementary, middle and high school. The current campus opened in 2002 and seems really nice. Almost like a small college campus. Definitely bigger than what we are used to (maybe a little intimidating for the boys?). First impression: lots of security. Rigorous screening at the front gate and plenty of guards walking around the campus. And much more high-tech than I am used to seeing (i.e. lockers that open by swiping your ID card in front of it). Didn't get a full tour of all the facilities but I'm sure I'll get to know the campus pretty well in no time. Got signed off by all the departments and just need to tie up a few loose ends. But the boys are set to start a regular day of school tomorrow!
