PPT

Noticed that a couple of my posts are already titled with abbreviations. Here' another. PPT = Pacific Plaza Towers. We are putting in a bid to rent a unit here on the 7th floor. We had a few options in terms of apartment buildings but we've decided to pursue this one which is in the same part of town as ISM. Funny how there are different nuances even though you're basically still in the city. I liked the area around PPT because it seems a little more sidewalk friendly than some other areas. Restaurants are still in walking distance (just not directly below us) and there are plenty of shops within close distance that will make it convenient enough. There's also a mall nearby called Aura that was built within the past two years. Very nice and feels much like being in a mall back at home. Hopefully if all goes well we can move into PPT in the next month or so. Hotel living just doesn't quite make you feel at home. Still no complaints though.

Here's the view from the living room of the unit that's available. Makati City business district is in the background (where Grace's office is located) and just below is the PPT pool and the Manila Golf and Country Club (unfortunately a private course). Not too shabby of a view :)
