IASAS

The International Association of Southeast Asian Schools is a coalition of 6 schools that compete in academic, athletic, and cultural events (Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, and Manila). Each sports season culminates with a tournament where athletes get to travel to the host country to participate in a final 3-day event (the regular season is spent competing against other local public and private schools). This season ISM hosted volleyball and cross country events. The school was buzzin' for the past few days. I volunteered to be on campus for the volleyball tournament as part of the medical staff. ISM boys and girls made it to the volleyball finals but lost both matches to Singapore. Was fun to be a part of it. GO Bearcats!

Just to shake off some rust I asked Chase if I could practice taping his ankle.

Toby thought it was cool and wanted his ankle taped too.

Banners and flags outside for the cross country races.

Banners for the volleyball tournament were in full force around the gyms. Each player even had a full sized banner with their picture on it.

Girls finals against Singapore. Hard to tell from the picture but the house was packed and the noise level was raucous.
