La Mesa Reserve

Took a trip about an hour outside of Manila to a place called La Mesa. It's actually the main reservoir that provides the city with it's tap water. I was surprised that the area around the lake has been sanctioned as a hiking and mountain biking area. The area is very scenic and the biking trails are some of the best that I've ever been on. You really feel like you could be in the Oregon back country. I've got a couple of biking buddies now so looking forward to spending more mornings up in La Mesa.
