Gardenia Trip

The entire 2nd grade took a trip to the Gardenia Bread Factory (6 bus caravan). Gardenia is the largest bread maker in the Philippines. The unit of learning right now "Sustainable Production and Consumption". Pretty fancy if you ask me. I got to be a chaperone on the trip. It was kinda like touring the Jelly Belly factory. We got to watch a video and then take a tour of the facility. Starts with a silo of different ingredients all the way to baking and bagging. Lots of cool learning, free samples, and even a discount shop.
