The Journey Continues: We have been given the opportunity to live in Manila for the next three years! Grace will be taking on a new role as Finance Manager and I will continue suffering as an ex-pat spouse. But seriously, I'm hoping to do some work and keep my PT brain and hands going so I don't forget everything. A great place to come and visit. We'd love to have you over or meet up somewhere in Asia.

Mangos
Some things are easily taken for granted. I don't think I've posted about the famous Filipino mangos. I'm sure some people have tasted the dry mangos sold at Costco, but trust me, they don't do it justice. Even if you're not a huge mango fan, you will probably become one if you start living here. If you've had pineapples in Hawaii, this is kinda what I'm talking about. Same fruit but on another level. Some even say that the best mangos are exported to places like Japan and Korea and the ones left behind for the locals are the "rejects". Pretty good rejects if you ask me. You can find mango shakes in almost every restaurant. For my boys it's like ordering water. Grace and I will usually steal a few sips from them. Super tasty.
