Manila Polo Club

Our friends from church have a corporate membership at the Manila Polo Club. Very posh. They invited us for lunch and we even got to sit in a cabana and watch a polo match. We had a great time. I'm sure there are some creme de la creme who are probably thinking "Who let the riffraff in here?" If you're from my generation you're probably picturing the scene from the movie Pretty Woman. Kinda felt like that. This family is also Korean American and both the mom and dad went to UC Berkeley. Super nice family. And of course Grace is a Cal elitist so there's already a bond there. They have two daughters in high school and one is a graduating senior on her way to Georgetown next year. It's fun hearing their family stories - things to look forward in the next 7-10 years for us. Next time I need to get a picture of our two families together.
